WHERE WINE MEETS STORYTELLING
Led by Restaurant Manager and Head Sommelier Maxime Resse, the wine programme is an integral part of the Huset experience.

"This collection began in 1979 and has since been carefully developed by a succession of sommeliers. Today, it features more than 1,000 selections from around the world, representing every style of wine. The cellar has been recognised with Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” (two glasses) for three consecutive years."
Maxime Resse
Educated in France and trained in Bordeaux, Maxime has worked at Michelin-starred restaurants including Maaemo and Under before bringing his expertise to Svalbard.

Together with the culinary team, he creates pairings designed to elevate every course and reveal new dimensions of flavour.
​
For the past five years, Huset has been awarded Wine Spectator's Best of Award of Excellence and proudly holds a Two Glass rating, placing it among the most respected wine programmes in Northern Europe.
